These techniques can include: greens, grains, trees, indoor, outdoor, livestock and with any number of variations including: greenhouse, raised bed, organic, permaculture, vertical, hydroponics, chickens, goats, etc. Most often, a combination of several methods is required in order to provide adequate produce selection and nutritional requirements.
Each technique has its own pros and cons in relation to environment, planning, resources, and climate. Regional weather patterns and available natural resources are two of the most important factors to consider when choosing any specific sustainable food method. Plants and animals alike are most affected by the environment. Before choosing any methods, it's recommended to research which livestock, fruits and vegetables match the physical location resource availability and environmental conditions such as weather.
